The Information Technology team at our Company’s Research & Development division is currently seeking a senior DevSecOps & Cloud Engineer with a desire to work on innovative approaches and technologies to automate the provisioning of infrastructure and application deployment processes while integrating many other tools in the CI/CD pipeline. Keeps application reliability, security, cost, and observability at the forefront. Documents the best practices.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Product Manager, Technical Lead, Vendor and Testing team members in designing and implementing DevSecOps and Cloud solutions.
• Creates and reviews CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management scripts. Integrates security, build and testing tools.
• Monitors reliability, cost and observability of the containerized applications running in the cloud and responds to incidents.
• Documents best practices, guidelines and contributes to shared templates.
• Maintain backlog and prioritizes tasks.
• Documents, reviews, and ensures that all System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and company policy standards are met.

Position Qualifications: –

Education Minimum Requirement:-

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certification or completion of equivalent program in areas such as Software Development, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

Required Experience and Skills:-

• Hands-on experience with creating CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.
• 5+ years of experience in IT field and/or related program.
• Hands-on working with Cloud Services provider such as AWS.
• Experience with containers and orchestration engines.
• Proficiency with Linux operating system commands.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Unix bash.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience working as part a global, diverse team.
• Experience with Kubernetes, network, and security.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, NodeJS or Java is a plus.
• Relevant certifications.
• Experience delivering products and features using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation.
