Our Company Vaccines within Human Health is a guiding division in our company and represents a $10B business, with 10 in-line vaccines and at least 3-pipeline vaccines that address infectious disease in the areas of HPV, pneumococcal and pediatrics. We are accountable for tens of millions of doses of vaccines for infants, adolescents, and adults around the world. This role lies within our Global Vaccines Commercial Operations Team, who enable and accelerate business growth through an increasing focus on operations, launch and demand/supply excellence and key capability development.
The Global Demand Manager role, reporting to the Director, Global Supply & Demand Excellence, under Global Vaccines Commercial Operations partners globally & cross-functionally to manage integrated business processes for Vaccines which include Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Forecasting, Tender Forecasting, Supply Coordination / Communication. The team also interacts cross divisionally with Global Vaccines Marketing, our Manufacturing Division Vaccines Global Supply Planning and GHH Vaccines Finance to effectively provide a balanced picture of Vaccines demand and supply outlook to enable just-in-time tactical & strategic decisions for the business.
The Global Demand Manager maintains a tight control of the global demand plans submitted by the markets by ensuring integrity of the bottom-up demand planning process and validation of commercial and strategic assumptions with Global Vaccines Marketing, Regional Commercial directors, Regional Planning, Global Supply Planning, and GHH Vaccines Finance.
In this role, the employee establishes and runs a monthly routine analysis
and reviews key highlights and metrics of the globally aggregated demand, while partnering with the global commercial teams and finance. By this, we will ensure that that demand signals sent to our Manufacturing Division for manufacturing reflects the most likely scenario in the 3-to-36-month planning horizon in alignment with commercial expectations.
