Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a Mental Health PCH Assistant Administrator to join our team at our program in Russellton, PA.
Earn $42,000/year.
Must be willing to work as a full member of our team to provide direct care and support to the individual residents. Demonstrates knowledge of the DPW 2600 regulations for Personal Care Homes and the ability to implement these regulations. Must embrace recovery, hope inspiring, and resiliency building approaches in managing the PCH. Network with the community to build awareness. Promote community collaboration and establish linkages with individual agencies in the community that will be essential to the LVCPCH resident’s recovery. Linkages must be updated on a yearly basis. Assure that Recovery Philosophy are integrated into the operations of the home and overall culture and environment of the PCH. Supervise Direct Care Staff and Peer Specialist, and other staff employed with the home as assigned. Provide support to the PCH Administrator, monitoring the annual training requirements per the DPW 2600 regulations. Work to maintain the PCH licensure, assuring that the location always meets all licensure requirements. Be prepared to flexibly adapt to the diverse situations that may arise with the type of population being served in the PCH. Provide on-call for after-hours support for PCH staff. Provide professional support and serve as a resource, coach, and mentor to all Staff. Hire, orient, and integrate new staff. Also responsible for ensuring staff adhere to Merakey policy and procedures and follow corrective action procedures for those not following policy. Complete monthly and yearly program reports as necessary to track progress. Participate in consumer treatment team meetings, county meeting or NHS meetings as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Master’s degree with specialty in psychology, social work, or other appropriate human service curriculum.
* Must have a minimum of one year experience in the mental health field and management experience.
* Must have completed the Department of Public Welfare approved training program for PCH Administrators.
* Valid driver’s license required as well as all clearances required by OMHSAS
