MCKESSON Hiring for Sr. Engagement Specialist, Labor Relations Job at Irving, TX Full Time

For this role, we are seeking a Labor Relations/Employee Relations Strategic Partner who has a passion for solving problems through effective partnership, communication, and strategic alignment.

You will be working with the LR/ER Data Analyst to build a comprehensive LR/ER curriculum to improve employee engagement, targeting different levels within the organization. You will also oversee surveying the efficiency of, tracking, and updating the curriculum. You will be tasked with travelling to various sites and facilitating 1:1 employee assessments and interviews, addressing needs, and the appropriate curriculum to minimize risk.

Responsibilities:

• Empower managers to set culture expectations and engage with employees in a way that aligns with our Corporate and Labor Strategy Playbook
• Proactively engage with employees at site level, conducting assessment/interviews, facilitating focus groups, and building relationships
• Design and develop LR/ER training curriculum that can be rolled out by the LR/ER Consultant to targeted facilities, for all levels in the organization (Employees, Leads, Supervisors, Managers)
• Ensure the developed training is easily digestible to various levels within the organization
• Survey customer response and ensure relevance and effectiveness of various programs by creating and maintain training schedule and tracking tool
• Ensure Business Units are engaged with the LR/ER process by delivering media collateral containing pertinent information to LR/ER client group on a regular basis

Typical Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education required

Minimum of 3 year in labor and employee relations experience required

Strong experience with employee engagement

Experience working in a unionized environment

Comfortable with gathering, manipulating data

Comfort communicating with all levels of the organizations

Ability to travel approximately up to 50%

Critical Skills

• BA/MA in business, HR, or similar degree
• Experience working with/supporting a distribution center and/or call center environment
• 4+ years in HR Generalist, Leadership Development, or similar experience
• Strong demonstrated experience driving employee engagement
• Demonstrated experience facilitating focus groups/training to non-exempt employees
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong ability to manage ambiguity and multiple projects
• Experience responding to Union organization campaigns nice to have
