MEDICAL ASSISTANT, FAMILY MEDICINE, MIT Medical, to assist physicians,
nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during and between office
visits and perform other tasks consistent with training and skills. Will act as the primary liaison between clinical staff and the patient;
play an active role in preparing for the daily operation of patient visits and implementing key activities; lead the twice-daily huddle
sessions to ensure all pertinent patient information is communicated between all clinical staff and that appropriate materials are available
so that care is delivered effectively and efficiently; manage HealtheLife requests, ensuring patients comprehend medical treatment
information provided by each provide and using the best medium to follow up with each patient to ensure treatment plan compliance;
administer vaccinations and handle other clinical medical responsibilities according to state laws and MIT Medical policies; and perform
other clinical and clerical duties applicable to the kind of practice and patient population. Essential to the role will be providing
excellent customer service; promoting patient satisfaction and ensuring that interactions are conducted in a manner consistent with each
patient’s needs; ensuring efficient patient flow through the office; functioning as a “flow manager”; and maintaining neat, clean, and safe
patient care areas.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or medical assistant certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA);
at least two years of related experience in a physician’s office setting; phlebotomy skills; and excellent analytical, communication,
interpersonal, and diplomacy skills. PREFERRED: national medical assistant certificate. Job #22723-5
