The Technology Manager is responsible for providing technology support to The Center to advance its goal of achieving a truly homelike environment in which MCC residents live with respect, personal dignity, and independence to the fullness of their abilities. The Technology Manager is responsible for the secure and efficient operation of The Mary Campbell Center information systems property, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, and data. Technology Manager is charged with championing The Mary Campbell Center’s Guiding Principles and mission, and must be a positive role model who works effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of The Center..

We are seeking an experienced manager to help us grow our IT Department. This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for implementing new technologies to improve company communications. An ideal candidate for this position is highly-organized, uses technology to streamline projects and has a background in software development.
Provides direct oversight, management and security of the information, communication and data systems of the Mary Campbell Center:
a) Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at The Mary Campbell Center. This includes directing IT operations to meet requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.
b) Maintains the MCC Server(s) and associated hardware and software. Ensures continuous daily operation. Surveys the system daily for proper operation and security and intervenes as necessary. Maintains vendor contracts for the operations staff.
c) Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and outside contractors in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
d) Provides problem identification and intervention (s) to resolve disruption and/or performance failure in systems equipment, software or infrastructure:
e) Provides daily monitoring of the security and integrity of the MCC network and infrastructure and intervenes as necessary to maintain a healthy and secure network landscape.
f) Configuration, implementation and monitoring of Voice Over IP-based phone system.
g) Performs routine maintenance and inspection of technology systems throughout the Center.
h) Maintains, monitors, and troubleshooting of Office 365; Azure Active directory;
i) maintenance of Spam filtering, archiving, and email redundancy through Bolder
j) Design systems
k) 7) Maintains, monitors, and troubleshooting of all networks that The Center deploys
– Resident/Guest wireless network
– Nurse Call Network
– Corporate Network
– Security camera network, its supporting programs, and Badging system
– Relias
l) Identification, Coordination, Implementation of Projects as assigned
m) Project Management
n) Responsible for mentoring IT Specialist and providing guidance and direction on a daily basis.
Maintains an up-to-date knowledge and assessment of infrastructure systems, equipment and uses his knowledge to replace or upgrade items in a planned manner:
a) Makes recommendations for repair/replacement of aging units.
b) Ensures that all printers, copiers and fax machines are operational.
c) Oversees the daily functionality of the E Compile reports and analyze data in support of EMR system monthly
d) EMR network and devices. Intervenes as necessary to ensure consistent operation.
e) Coordinates meetings with vendors and/or site visits as requested.
f) Works cooperatively with staff to identify IT and/or system problems and offer solutions.
g) Responsible for installation of new equipment and the necessary training of users where necessary.
h) Uses an established and accountable system to identify all reported problems needing intervention.
i) Researches and evaluates new alternatives or equipment.
j) Makes recommendations for the acquisition of IT equipment/materials and/or more efficient practices.
k) Coordination and development of electronic documentation enhancement.
l) Support of staff programs and access to systems related to pharmacy, DHIN and Relias training, Kratos Security system, Meal tracker, and Nurse Call systems.
m) Monitors Anti-virus programs for staff and residents to ensure compliance with protocols and evaluation of policy errors/violations
n) Maintain a working knowledge of iOS and Apple products and Apple Business Manager
o) Must be able to troubleshoot Mac products
Evaluates and makes recommendations for Mary Campbell Center’s social media and recruitment systems; provides support & training to staff in using and applying selections:
a) Social Media Manager for The Mary Campbell Center Facebook account, Google
b) Account, and other social mediums.
c) Collaborative creation of content, groups, events across all social media mediums in compliance with Mary Campbell Center standards and policies
Assists in the leadership operation of the Mary Campbell Center:
a) Chairs Management Information Systems (MIS) Committee. Supports &/or coordinates the efforts of the sub-committees of the MIS committee efforts.
b) Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution.
c) Represents the IT function at Center meetings when appropriate.
d) Participates in overall leadership of The Mary Campbell Center as part of the Senior Management Team and serves as Manager-on-Duty on a rotating schedule.
e) Assures continuous IT on-call coverage is maintained for emergency situations. Assures prompt response to facility technology as needs occurs. Monitors IT systems remotely where necessary to maintain system integrity.
f) Meets at regularly scheduled times with the Assistant Exec. Director and/or Executive Director to provide an overview of system performance, concerns, needs, and ideas.
g) Responsible for security of active directory to ensure compliance with guidelines for HIPAA. Participates in the quarterly HIPAA meetings.
h) Provides IT support to residents’ technology systems. Participates in hardware and software evaluations for the residents when needed.
i) Development and updates of technology policy & procedures as directed.
j) Meets with IT Board representative and provides quarterly IT Board report as needed.
Performs other duties as directed.
