Vice President of Enrollment Management to continue their trajectory as an innovative and visionary institution with a deep understanding of
trends, best practices, and data-driven approaches for strategic enrollment management. With new College leadership on the horizon and
enrollment numbers steady, this is an exciting time to capitalize on several strategic initiatives that will move the community into the
next phase of forward-thinking enrollment practices. This role offers an experienced enrollment leader the opportunity to mentor the next
generation of enrollment professionals and inspire a new era of growth and sustainability in the Marietta community.
The Vice
President for Enrollment Management is responsible for all aspects of recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and enrollment planning. The
ideal candidate will incorporate best practices into the College’s processes for recruitment, admission, and financial aid for both
undergraduate and graduate programs. Goals include increasing undergraduate and graduate enrollment, meeting net tuition revenue objectives,
and increasing the quality and diversity of the applicant and matriculant pools. The successful candidate will craft and implement a highly
inclusive and effective institutional enrollment plan, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the College on student
persistence initiatives.

Ohio Athletic Conference. Marietta has won six national championships and 61 conference titles, including an OAC-record four consecutive
men’s basketball titles (2014-18).

Marietta’s
timeless education began in 1797, when descendants of pioneers of the Northwest Territory established the Muskingum Academy. The institution
was chartered in 1835 by the state of Ohio, making Marietta College one of 37 Revolutionary Colleges and home to the 16th oldest chapter of
the most prestigious academic honorary, Phi Beta Kappa. From its earliest moments until well into the future, Marietta College cherishes its

Living in the Area
With a
population of 13,559, Marietta, OH offers a rich history and beautiful area with two rivers, parks, and a vibrant downtown always bustling
with activity. Brick streets lined with lush hardwood trees and ornate Victorian homes make Marietta one of the most idyllic cities in the
Midwest. National Geographic magazine named Marietta “One of the Best Places to Live” and “Best Adventure Town.” In
2019, the Travel Channel selected Marietta as the most charming small town in Ohio to visit. Described as beautiful and charming, the town
offers something for everyone from the walkable downtown district with stores, boutiques, antique shops and galleries, as well as local
restaurants, cozy cafes, historic theatres, and museums. Outdoor activities include hiking, cycling, boating, and kayaking. Marietta’s cost
of living is 22.7% lower than the U.S. average.
Marietta is part of a much larger Mid-Ohio Valley metropolitan area that includes
nearby Parkersburg, West Virginia. This area sustains a combined population of around 133,000. Marietta is only a few hours from Columbus,
Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
