Manpower Hiring for Contact Center Operator Job at Marquette, MI Full Time

Marquette Manpower is assisting a local employer in their search for center operators for 1 afternoon, full-time position and 3 as needed (on call) positions. All positions will have 6 weeks of full-time training. Must be tech savvy.

These positions are responsible for supporting business by operating switchboard and connecting callers to the appropriate person. Positions available are part-time (as needed). These are day and afternoon shifts with varying start times that range between between 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and end times from 2:30 p.m. to 12:30a.m. The full time position available will be afternoon shift hours. The pay is $15 per hour. There is an average of 6 weeks of training and the training hours will vary, as well. Please see below for what the training schedule hours.

• 4-10’s 4:30a-2:30p 40hrs week
• 5-8’s 6:30a-2:30p 40hrs week

Job duties:Monitors alarm systems in order to ensure that secure conditions are maintained.Operate communication systems (IE: phone, switchboard, public address, beepers) efficiently adhering to hospital and departmental policies to include maintaining tele-directory. Coordinates, repairs, and loans of beepers as needed. Maintains knowledge of all hospital emergency codes and duties related for each code. Initiates, routes, and follows through codes and call groups for notifications from multiple sources.Ability to prioritize duties, calls, emergencies, stats, monitors, alarms, alerts. Understands and monitors building alarm systems to ensure that secure conditions are maintained. Able to reset and inform appropriate personnel of alarms, troubles, or irregularities. Monitors security cameras and operates related equipment. Displays good phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills while answering incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking messages as necessary.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience-1 year call-center experience. Must be willing to work some weekends and 3 holidays per year.
