Washington County Department of Housing Services is looking for a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Lead to help manage a diverse portfolio of affordable housing properties ranging from single-family homes to multi-family apartments. Under the supervision of the Asset Manager, this position will oversee maintenance operations, including facilities contract management, work order processing, staff training, work assignments, scheduling, and provide oversight and document all work completed by contractors. The position will also have light supervision of the maintenance crew, including prioritizing the work and tracking hours worked by the maintenance crew, training staff, managing work order assignments, and recording the completion of work orders.

Selection Process:
1. Week of August 29, 2022: An evaluation of training and experience of submitted application packets will be performed by Human Resources.
2. Week of September 5, 2022: A Subject Matter Expert (SME) Panel will perform an evaluation of experience and training taken from your employment application materials including responses to the supplemental questionnaire. This process may take up to 2 weeks due to the holiday.
3. Our goal is to schedule oral panel interviews with candidates that successfully passed the SME evaluation step as soon as possible.

This is a non-represented position and is not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Regular and limited duration full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week and job share employees are eligible for benefits beginning on the first of the month following employment. Job share employees are responsible for 50% of the premium. Part-time regular, variable hour, and temporary positions are not eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
