MacGillis Education Group LLC Hiring for Online French Teacher Job at Remote Full Time

Passionate, energetic and reliable French teacher is wanted to provide online language instruction to primary and secondary school students located abroad.

Responsibilities

1. Develop lesson plans, curricula, and supplementary instructional resources for children ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old with limited French language skills.

2. Provide individualized and small group instruction online to address the needs of students.

3. Provide a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.

4. Assess each student’s language skill level, monitor student progress, and provide helpful feedback for improvement.

5. Communicate with counselors on student progress.

6. Prepare report cards and keep appropriate records.

Qualifications

1. Must be a native speaker

2. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or a related field.

3. A state board teaching certification or professional license with appropriate endorsement.

4. Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience.

5. Ability to develop curricula and create lesson plans.

6. Comfortable working with students of different skill levels.

7. Dynamic, articulate, patient, reliable, fun-loving & professional.

8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

9. Familiar with current online teaching technology.

Compensation commensurate with experience

Note: Classes are normally scheduled between 6:30am and 9:00am (Eastern Time), Mon-Fri and possibly on the weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
