Position Summary |
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Instruction and College Initiatives, the Director (VII) Equity Pathways Program provides leadership and oversight of SCC’s California Community Colleges Chancelor’s Office (CCCCO) Equity Pathways grant. This grant will help to continue the college’s anti-racism and Guided Pathways implementation efforts. The Director will focus on developing and implementing training for adjunct faculty on culturally- responsive pedagogy and evidence-based equity interventions, creating Faculty Learning Communities organized around the College’s meta majors, and helping to promote a culture of data-informed approaches to teaching and program development; collaborating with deans and other administrators to ensure institutional support and integration; contracting with an external evaluator and with the Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness Office (PRIE) to complete external reporting requirements; overseeing budgets and financial reporting; writing and submitting reports as required. |
