The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated engineering professional to join our Interiors South Carolina team as a Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager, the successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time to Charleston.
This position is aligned primarily to 787 Program statement of work and the candidate will support the needs of the entire Payloads team. The identified candidate will be solely responsible for the hiring/staffing of the BSC Payloads team and will ensure that the Best Team and Talent are in place to support future needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages all requisitions related to hiring for the BSC Payloads Team.
Works closely with the Payloads Management team to down-select, interview and extend offers to qualified candidates.
Represents The Boeing Company at Domestic hiring events, ETA’s, conferences and other recruitment events.
Coordinates hiring to the representative organizations and summarizes performance-to-plan and help needed.
Elevates help needed as necessary to eliminate roadblocks to hiring.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study
Experience leading a team, formally or informally
5+ years of work experience with payloads engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Ability to travel periodically for recruitment events
Experience with recruitment and hiring activities
Ability to work across organizational boundaries and communicate status to key stakeholders.
Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation.

Summary pay range: 139,400 – 188,600
