The candidate will conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, working in a team environment, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Specific tasking will be but not limited to overall design of launcher electrical systems, including the selection and use of Commercial Off the Shelf components, custom hardware design, and setting requirements for chassis/enclosure design. They will help develop, direct, and coordinate technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met. Position is in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field combined with minimum 5+ years professional experience.
Experience supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development
Experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
• Wiring Board (PWB) Design
• Circuit Card Assembly Design
• Complex Cable Design
• Electrical Bonding and Grounding of Enclosures
• FPGA Selection/Programming
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
An Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field is a plus.
Experience with DOD programs and military engineering standards
Working Experience in Product Lifecycle and Transition to Production
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
