Job Description PURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Part-time Clerk, OCOO Operations supports the Office of the Chief Operations Officer by performing task-oriented duties while providing clerical, analytical, administrative, and operational support. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provides administrative support and assistance in preparing documentsProvides administrative support in managing digital databases, including scanning existing files into database Ensures compliance with record retention policies Practices discretion with confidential information Provides support with contract compliance Responsible for all file management within the Office of the Chief Operations OfficerResponsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of general office practices and proceduresProficiency with common office software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access)Must be computer literate and experienced with automated library systemsExcellent customer service skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to communicate the detailed information in a concise and understandable formatAbility to work on multiple projectsAbility to multi-task and prioritize work assignmentsAbility to maintain confidentiality PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work is sedentary.
