Loenbro Looking for Journeyman Electrician Full Time
Job Duties:
– Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
– Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
– Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
– Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
– Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
– Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
– Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
– Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
– The Electrician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management
– Capable of reading and understanding over view drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics
– Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
– Work with and train apprentices on the job.
Skills/Qualifications:
– Must be a licensed electrician
– Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in instrumentation an industrial electrical system
– Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls
– Must be reliable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed
– Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
– Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
– Basic computer knowledge is required.
Potential Hazards:
– Outside the majority of the time
– Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
– Limited working surfaces
– Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
– Exposure to areas with limited visibility
– Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
– Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks
– If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Essential Requirements:
– Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day, Standing
– Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
– Use of respirator if position requires
– Driving if required to travel
