Follows physician’s instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.Basic Life Support certification required. May require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.Requires certification through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance, RT(MR); or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (RMRIT).May be required to be registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) in another modality, if applicable.May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.MRI experience is required.ResponsibilitiesConnect to Promise – Demonstrates a commitment to IU Health’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting behaviors and delivering results that align with the strategic direction of the organization.
