Scope of Position |
The scope of this position involves performing journey-level work in the maintenance, diagnosing, repair, alteration, and remodeling of all Lewis and Clark College campuses and facilities with an emphasis on maintaining, diagnosing, repair, and replacement of HVAC systems, equipment, and devices.
Primary assignments include a high level of skills and knowledge in: heating and cooling equipment; BAS; water conditioning systems; domestic hot and cold-water systems; pumps; condensate equipment; refrigerants; and a variety of HVAC system devices and controllers. A high degree of competence in HVAC is expected with an ability to read blueprints and diagrams. All work performed must be in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations for work practices.
