If so, Leidos is seeking a full-time Career Development Manager who will work closely with functional and line management to develop effective and engaging career development and mentoring programs for employees and leaders. Primary Responsibilities

• The Career Development Manager leads the strategy and design and implementation of various Career Development programs, tools and resources.
• Strong functional expertise in talent development that includes developing and delivering career development and mentoring programs, tools and resources
• Experience working with best practices and knowledgeable of industry trends in career development
• Partner, collaborate, and consult with line and functional organizations across the enterprise in support of career development and mentoring initiatives to promote employee engagement, development, and retention
• Oversight of the Career Development and Mentoring Intranet (Prism) pages with responsibility for maintaining existing resource materials
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on defining technical and functional career paths
• Enhance communication and collaboration with employees and managers by providing subject matter as well as responses to employee questions via Prism and email
• Manage the gigs across the enterprise, design gig champion role and lead gig champions, expand the use of gigs
• Expand the use of the Career Hub and demonstrate return on investment
• Lead strategic thinking of the future of career development at Leidos
• Partner with communications team to write targeted and enterprise-wide communications such as the bi-monthly Career Connect blog and digital postcard series
• Design and administer Career Month annually every September to employees and leaders across the enterprise
• Promote leader resources to support positive internal career mobility for employees
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and employees
• Create OCM plans and stakeholder analyses for project planning and implementation of Career Development Programs
• Demonstrated ability to plan projects and execute on established timelines
• Lead and manage numerous projects while engaging stakeholders as needed
• Responsible for management and execution of the Executive Mentoring Program
• Design and implement supplemental career development tools and resources
• Partner with HRSS team to implement enhanced functionality within Workday
• Partner with senior business leadership to drive and deliver results
• Create surveys, analyze data, and present results to the appropriate stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related HR field and 12+ years related experience; 16+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Strategy thinker, ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
• Ability to operate independently in a virtual environment and communicate effectively with professional & technical staff, peers, employees, and all levels of management
• Computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint/Vector, and Prism/Igloo platform (Leidos intranet)
• A high level of self-initiative, passion, organization, enthusiasm, and being solutions-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Workday, the Career Hub (including gig opportunities) and Mentoring tool
• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of technologies that support the effective delivery of services to a geographically dispersed population

Pay Range:

Pay Range $105,300.00 – $162,000.00 – $218,700.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
