Lehigh University’s Department of Decision and Technology Analytics (DATA) in the College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track instructional position in Business Information Systems and Business Analytics beginning August 2024.
The position rank is either Teaching Assistant Professor or Professor of Practice, dependent upon the candidate’s experience and record of teaching. This is a non-tenure track, full time, fixed term, renewable position. Interested candidates must possess at least a Master’s degree in Information Systems or a directly related field by the time of employment.
Candidates will teach courses in the broad field of information systems and business analytics at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The Department anticipates that the selected candidate will be able to instruct or design courses in fields such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, cloud computing, or digital currency. The selected candidate is expected to be a highly engaged and committed member of the DATA department and will be involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring and department service assigned by the department chair. The standard teaching schedule is 12 credits per academic semester.
The College of Business is home to approximately 1,700 undergraduates, 320 graduate students, and 80 full-time faculty members. In addition to undergraduate, MBA, and various other graduate programs, the college has joint programs with engineering and computer science. The Department of Decision and Technology Analytics (DATA) includes faculty in information systems and supply chain management.
