Legal Assistant and Contract Specialist LOOKING FOR Legal Assistant and Contract Specialist JOB AT Georgetown, TX

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize files, both electronic and physical

• Assist with Notice of Commencement and general contractor preliminary notices for new construction projects
• Research and maintain a summary of lien law information by state
• Prepare communications, such as emails, letters, reports, and other correspondence

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in AIA contract software (multiple years’ experience preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat (advanced knowledge preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, and hard work ethic are a must
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to type with a speed of at least 55 wpm with high accuracy

Education and Experience:

• Previous Legal office experience
• AIA contract experience required
• Previous Construction industry experience preferred
• Previous construction licensing/permit experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $63,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
