Lead Medical Biller LOOKING FOR Lead Medical Biller JOB AT Miami, FL
The Lead Medical Biller will oversee private client and insurance payer Insurance billing. This is an in-office position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To Review and monitor reimbursements due and determines appropriate collection methods and account follow-up procedure.
- To Review benefit explanations from insurance companies and takes proper actions to request adjustments or refunds when applicable.
- Implement current coding and billing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Monitor government and insurance payer rate and rule change and distributes information within the department
- Monitor third party contract compliance
- Create and prepare monthly reports
- Keep up to date with Medicare regulations
Must have at least two years’ experience in healthcare claims processing, billing and collections
_Must be proficient with medical billing software (EMR, etc.) _
*Must be Fluent in English and Spanish*
Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
