We will be hiring for the position of Gardener/Horticulturist to begin immediately. We are looking for someone who is highly passionate and motivated for a career in Horticulture Design & Management. Please note, as this role will support our greenhouse, retail, and production locations applicants must be comfortable occasionally working inside a retail environment.

Location: Le Jardin Francais retail & production locations (West Midtown – Atlanta, GA 30318) and Client Properties (Inside the Perimeter)

Position Overview: Gardener/Horticulturist

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist horticulture team with regular harvesting of wildflowers & foraging of foliage for the company’s retail locations & Floral Design clients.
• Maintain plant material & equipment at company nursery, greenhouse & client properties.
• Regular upkeep of grounds & horticultural assets at company retail & production locations.
• Assist horticulture team in the design, installation, & maintenance of high-end residential & commercial potted gardens. LABOR IS REQUIRED.
• Assist with event and weekly account installation & maintenance for both Floral Design & Garden clients.
• Work directly with all company teams & departments, clients, and vendors to support client & company production goals.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in Horticulture, Garden and/or Floral Design industry

Horticulture degree and/or extensive horticultural knowledge preferred. Including, Expertise in the identification and care of Perennials & Ornamental Shrubs, experience with environmentally friendly/organic methods, fertilization & disease control.

Experienced with tools & equipment typical to horticulture and high-end & commercial gardening.

Applicant must have professional demeanor with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be customer satisfaction oriented.

• Valid Georgia Driver’s License
• Ability to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects (-/+50lbs)
• Fluency of Spanish and/or French is ideal, but not required

Pay: $38,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
