Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s (LBNL) Molecular Foundry Division is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Manager. In this role, you will report directly to the Molecular Foundry Division Director and play a crucial part in aligning resources to effectively manage and resolve business and operational needs within the Molecular Foundry Division (MFD).
The Molecular Foundry, situated at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California, stands as a prominent Department of Energy (DOE) user facility dedicated to advancing nanoscale science. Since its establishment in 2006, the Foundry has been at the forefront of nanoscience research, offering researchers across diverse disciplines access to state-of-the-art expertise, cutting-edge instrumentation, and other capabilities in the realm of nanotechnology. As a DOE user facility, the Molecular Foundry operates on an inclusive principle, welcoming any interested researcher, or “user,” to leverage its resources through a competitive, peer-reviewed proposal process. This unique approach allows users, at no cost, to explore and experiment with nanomaterials, with the expectation that findings will be disseminated through publication, contributing to the broader scientific community’s understanding of nanoscale phenomena.
