The Vice President of Performance and
Planning is the Chief Performance Officer of Laramie County Community College (LCCC). In this role, the Vice President is responsible for
ensuring the College has systems in place to authentically and continuously assess its performance, processes for planning designed to
improve performance, and services that support these efforts the assessment and planning efforts.
More specifically, the Vice
President is responsible for the collaborative development of systems that assess student learning, assess academic program success, and
assess college services. In addition, the Vice President creates, maintains, and improves processes for institutional strategic planning,
unit-level academic and service area operational planning, and institutional quality assurance. In this latter capacity the Vice President
serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for coordinating the institutional accreditation activities as the College’s
accreditation liaison to the Higher Learning Commission. Finally, the Vice President oversees and ensures the effective deployment
stakeholder-focused services including institutional research, sponsored awards and compliance, and project management.
The Vice
President has the reoccurring responsibility of assisting college leadership in the formulation of issues, analysis of trends, and the
understanding of outcomes as well as playing a critical role linking planning, resource allocation (budget), and assessment of institutional
effectiveness. The position provides relevant, timely and accurate information in a user-friendly form in support of decision-making at the
College.

Organizational
Relationship:
This position serves as the Chief Performance Officer of LCCC providing leadership to the Performance and
Planning Division, including all affiliated Departments and/or Work Groups; the Vice President has direct managerial responsibility for
multiple directors, managers and designated support staff. The direct reporting relationship is to the College President. Direct
cross-functional accountability also exists between this position and others members of the President’s executive Cabinet.
Benefits: Approximately 85% of health insurance premiums paid by the College, the College will contribute
13.19% of the employee’s salary towards their retirement fund, 21 vacation days, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 15 paid

Compensation: This is an Administrator Level 4 position. The salary is: $109,442.00.

ll. Providing Processes Associated with Planning, CQI and Quality Assurance
– The Vice President is responsible for ensuring that robust, effective processes are in place that allow LCCC to assure
its stakeholders of their expectations, encourage evidence-informed actions that focus on intentional improvement in the various performance
areas, and generate planning at both the strategic and operational levels. This is accomplished through the deployment of the following
processes:
lll. Providing Effective Stake-Holder Services
– The Vice President is responsible for ensuring the provision of effective services critical to stakeholders involved
in navigating the assessment systems and processes under the Performance and Planning functional area. These services include:
lV. Functional Department Management
– The Vice President is responsible for the successful and effective management of the people and resources within the
Performance and Planning Division, plus oversight responsibilities for the management of the functional departments/work groups within this
area. This functional tasking area may include:
Institutional Leadership – The Vice President serves as a member of the
President’s Cabinet and works in full partnership with other members of the executive team, as well as other departments, to
collaborate in the development of the overall strategic planning for the College, support initiatives such as shared governance, guide
overall institutional efforts regarding accreditation, facilitate intra-institutional partnerships, and act in the role of a change leader.
Fulfilling this responsibility will require the Vice President:
