Job Summary: Core responsibilities of this position include:
Under the direction of the Vice President
of Academic Affairs, the Dean of the Albany County Campus (ACC) plans organizes, administers, implements, and evaluates the credit-bearing
courses and academic programs offered at the ACC; provides leadership, supervision and evaluation for faculty assigned to the ACC; and
coordinates the meetings and work of the ACC Leadership Team. In addition, the Dean serves as a member of the Academic Leadership Team (ALT)
for LCCC, and works in full partnership with other Deans and members of ALT, as well as other areas, to determine, deploy, and assess
academic programming and related activities offered at the ACC. The Dean serves as the primary representative with the Albany County School
District and the University of Wyoming for the purposes of identifying, developing, delivering, and assesses effective course and program
offerings in alignment with the needs of these partners and their students. This position supervises both full-time and part-time faculty,
and may at times supervise classified personnel and student workers. The Dean performs other tasks, which may be assigned by the Vice
President of Academic Affairs based on contemporary institutional need. This is a full-time benefited position.

Organizational Relationship:
The Dean of the Albany Count Campus reports directly to the Vice President of
Academic Affairs (VPAA) and works closely with the other members of the Academic Leadership Team (ALT). S/He is also responsible for
coordinating the Albany County Campus Leadership Team.

insurance premiums paid by the College, the College will contribute 13.19% of the employee’s salary towards their retirement
fund, 21 vacation days, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 15 paid holidays annually. Typically 5-7 paid holidays from Christmas to New

ACC and Institutional Leadership – The Dean
participates fully in collaborative efforts that effectively promote, advance and sustain the mission and strategic goals of both the ACC
and the College. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Administration of ACC Academic
Affairs – Under the direction of the VPAA, the Dean is responsible for vision, direction and strategic management of the
ACC’s academic affairs operations. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Curriculum Oversight – The Dean works closely with the VPAA, members of the ALT, program
directors and ACC faculty to determine and implement the curricular programming that meets student, community, educational partners, and
business/industry needs in Albany County. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Faculty Recruitment, Development, and Supervision – Under the direction of the VPAA, the Dean is responsible for
ensuring the ACC’s academic offerings are facilitated by effective, prepared, and highly qualified full-time and adjunct instructors.
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Community
Partnerships – the Dean is the primary responsible person for establishing, strengthening, and maintaining strategic
partnerships with educational partners and the business community to ensure the ACC’s offerings align with community need and
opportunities for enrollment growth. Specific duties include:

perform some of these responsibilities on an infrequent basis.
