Your Role and Responsibilities

In this IT/Cloud consulting executive role, you will be responsible for supporting business development and opportunity closure for complex, multi-month resiliency programs including sizing, costing, planning and execution oversite for delivery of enterprise engagements.

As the Sales and Delivery executive you are responsible to ensure that the projects are completed on schedule, within the defined budget and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage good client relationship at all levels to grow the business.
• Lead and grow the skills of project team members.
• Lead proposal development, solution presentation and lead the sequent delivery.
• Participate on a team of mixed profession (i.e., other architects, specialists, consultants) KYNDRYL services personnel and contractors in the performance of client facing, billable project-based work.
• Collaborate with clients and, potentially, other KYNDRYL sales and services personnel in developing and delivering solutions.
• Plan and conduct complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments.
• Develops and implements product, market, business, or technology strategies with executive review. Has vision of overall strategies.
• Contributes to policy making. Recognized as an expert and leader by members of a field, related functions, and multi -country organizations. Leads business unit, country, or international teams, conducts special projects, or manages functions or strategic departments.
• Accountable for business unit, major country, or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance.
• Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $123,740 to $296,980 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 8+ years of developing complex technical and operating solution resiliency models across multiple vendor technology products.
• Applied understanding of NIST CSF or equivalent.
• Experience working with an architecture framework (i.e., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Understanding and experience applying network, processing (Unix, Intel, mainframe), storage and application enablement technologies (physical and virtual) in an integrated fashion to develop implementable solutions. Focused knowledge in multiple domains.
• Experienced driven knowledge developing data protection solutions, based on block, object, host, and application driven data replication technologies.
• Experienced working with object-based backup and recovery technologies and approaches.
• Solid understanding of data and service availability and recoverability methods, approaches, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Applied understanding of cyber resiliency, cyber recovery, and related issues.
• Applied understanding of various cloud solutions (xaas, Cloud Foundry, Open Shift) and providers (AWS, Azure).
• Experienced developing prioritized availability and recoverability tiers and relationships.
• Experienced in the technical aspects of technical and application recovery procedure development, refinement, and validation.
• Direct experience leading multiple member teams and multiple work stream projects.
• Understanding and experience developing solution designs for recovery planning and testing, extending to isolation and networking, data protection, and rapid systems recovery.
• Knowledge of technical and application recovery procedure development, testing and management.
• Experience with analyzing and modeling structured and unstructured data with various techniques (databases, pivot tables).
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans.
• Experience documenting (textual and graphical) solutions with standard tools (word processors, graphics / presentation packages).
• Able to work in a team environment, although expected to independently focus on a specific area.
• Open minded and considerate of multiple points of view, especially when counter to personally held ideas.
• Energetic and capable of maintaining multiple needs in a dynamic fashion.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Prefer 5+ years of prior consulting experience.
• Experience working with development of Statements of Work (SOW’s).
• PMP certification or specialized training.
• Training or experience Continuous improvement or Agile methodologies.
• Overall understanding of edge-based security, ZTA, IAM, SASE and other topics desired
• Experience with MS Project or Trello software.
• Cyber Security solutions and project delivery.
