GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Kirkwood Community College Library Services seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-time Reference Librarian. The successful candidate will have knowledge of and commitment to information literacy in an academic setting and experience with providing reference services. Primary duties will include providing reference and instruction services to students and faculty and assisting patrons with library resources. Position is for 20 – 28 hours per week and will include evening and weekend hours.

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
