Mission of the Job:

The role of the Operations Assistant is to provide support within the Operations Department to achieve elevated customer service from quote to final order delivery. Also follows up on customer service inquiries and oversees all freight arrangements to provide updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and win repeat customers.

Key Objectives/Outcomes:

• Provides standard and custom quotes in an accurate and efficient manner within a reasonable timeframe, providing the high level of service that current and future Kirei customers are accustomed to.
• Responds to Installer/Customer Inquiries promptly which creates an opportunity to strengthen relationships with Kirei customers and instills confidence in our ability to deliver on commitments and create repeat business.
• Knowledgeable in basic order processing. Backs up the Operations team to ensure uninterrupted flow of orders and supports the department by building rapport with team members and customers.
• Assists the sales team with answering product, stock, quoting and lead time questions as requested.
• Assists in coordinating shipping and freight logistics for standard and custom orders so they are processed on time with reliable carriers.

• Maintain detailed records of customers and opportunities in salesforce
• Provide standard quotes
• Arrange shipping on standard and custom orders

Support Duties

• Respond quickly to customer/installer questions
• Update Sales Team on project status
• Order processing when necessary

Experience, Skills, Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years experience working in a professional environment
• Proficient in GSuite and MS Office applications
• Shipping and/or customer service background
• Ability to understand yields and square footage
• Intermediate math / geometry skills
• Highly organized
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Desire to understand Kirei’s product line and internal processes

Preferred:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in customer service
• Quoting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
