Kindred Healthcare Looking for Revenue Cycle Analyst Full Time at Watertown, WI  Full Time

Full Time – 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for working in conjunction with the WRMC revenue cycle staff as it relates to all revenue cycle functions.

Will be instrumental in reviewing and resolving billing/revenue cycle edits ensuring clean claim submission; identifies Meditech/billing system and staff issues and works to implement processes/procedures to reduce re-work and improve the accuracy of information.

Functions as the Application Leader and is responsible for evaluating, testing, and training staff on all relevant Patient Accounting B/AR Meditech upgrades. Is responsible to for the ongoing support of our Online Business Office (Relay Health) and assists with the electronic billing software for electronic insurance eligibility system (RevRunner).

The Revenue Cycle Analyst must be a critical thinker with the ability to analyze system functionality and implement software/upgrades that improves productivity and efficiency. Position must be able to perform job responsibilities under limited supervision.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Three to five years of healthcare billing experience required, or three years of IT experience in a healthcare setting with a good working knowledge of HCIS systems(billing systems).
• Working knowledge of third party electronic billing software systems.
