Material Handler (D2 – Schedule) – Williston – VT
As the Material Handler you will execute storage, material handling, replenish and fulfillment functions within the Plant while meeting our World Class Manufacturing and Distribution standards.No experience? Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position working our Days Weekend (D2) schedule. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
6:00am-6:00pm
Week 1:Friday-Sunday
Week 2:Thursday-Sunday
Compensation: This is a full-time hourly position. Paid on a biweekly basis.
What you will do:
- Move raw materials and finished goods to and from Production areas
- Complete system transactions for every physical movement in a timely and accurate manner
- Replenish pick locations as needed
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate forklifts within the Safety standards
- Report forklift maintenance issues/error codes and fill out inspection sheets daily
- Audit discrepancies with inventory using transaction history
- Participate and assist inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
- Support all production teams in plant as needed
- Pick product for customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Use People Soft transactions to process orders
- Operate semi-automatic pallet jack
Requirements:
- Ability to quickly learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks. 6 months of forklift operation experience preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Lift, push, and pull a minimum 35 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stretch and sit or stand during entire shift.
- Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb into forklift, bend, stoop, and twist.
- Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
Total Rewards:
- $19.50/hour
- $3500 sign-on bonus.
