Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Engineering Technology consists of over 400 students and 10 full-time faculty members in two ABET-accredited undergraduate 4-year degree programs (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology). The faculty are committed to student success and to delivering a nationally recognized program. Scholarship in the department spans both industry- and government-funded research projects focused on practical application of engineering principles. The faculty have expertise in areas that include manufacturing, CNC machining and fabrication, additive manufacturing, engineering materials, nondestructive testing, mechanism design, product development, prototyping, mechanical design of automated manufacturing systems, biomedical applications, engineering design graphics, as well as teaching and learning in engineering education. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering Technology faculty position in the Department of Engineering Technology with a preferred start date of August 1, 2024. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Responsibilities include the following at a minimum.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
