Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for Director of Collection Development and open rank, twelve-month, non-tenure track Librarian of Library Science in the Kennesaw State University Library System. This position begins July 1, 2022.
Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
The Kennesaw State University Library System seeks an inclusive and collaborative leader as their new Director of Collection Development. The successful candidate will mentor and lead a team of four staff and four faculty and serve as an integral part of the Library System’s Leadership Team. The Director of Collection Development coordinates all activities of the Collection Development team, including e-resource assessment, vendor negotiations, collections liaison activities, database trials, collection management and maintenance, government documents, and the institutional repository. This faculty member will also provide essential research and educational support for KSU students and faculty through librarianship activities, including research consultations and reference support.
