Typical Duties
– Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of TE’s human resource information systems (HRIS), data, reporting and analytics platform, with accountability for the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities.
– Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff.
– Maintains personnel records or other employee information that is accurate, complete, and fulfills legal requirements, including changes such as hires, terminations/separations, salary actions, and/or benefit transactions, ensuring HRIS and/or related systems are updated appropriately.
– Monitors HR system and analytics needs and evaluates/provides HRIS software and hardware technology and analytics solutions by
designing new or modifying existing systems.

– Analyzes employee data to identify trends, facilitate strategic workforce planning, or improve human resources operations.
– Collects and analyzes data related to turnover, employee demographics, recruiting or staffing to forecast hiring, scheduling, or other workforce planning needs.
– Responds to standard requests for employee records based on established guidelines; refers more complex or confidential inquiries to management.
– Often works with payroll and its personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions and may serve as HR department liaison to MIS/IT function.
Knowledge Level
– Bachelors, 5+ years of experience required.
– Applies broad knowledge of a specific discipline and general knowledge in related disciplines to resolve problems of diverse scope requiring analysis/evaluation of identifiable factors.
– Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
– Provides input to objectives and goals of the sub- function or business unit.
