• Onsite Monday-Friday (shift between 7:30am-5:30pm)

What’s a typical day as a Claims Review Specialist?

• Performs non-medical reviews and processes redetermination letters ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepares unit reports, analyzes, and interprets workload, and processes issues utilizing various software tools.
• Updates letters and documents within the department when necessary.
• Gathers and prepares documentation for legal inquiries and administrative requests.

This job might be an outstanding fit for you if you have:

• Associate’s degree
• 2 years of claims experience
• Experience using Microsoft office
• Ability to read and decipher documents such as insurance and bond policies
• Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software

Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgment skills
• Detail oriented, proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
