Position Summary: A science teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a wide range of science learning experiences. Responsibilities include promoting the safety and well-being of all members of the classroom community; planning and implanting scientific learning that promotes students’ active inquiry, discovery, and learning both individually and in small groups; adapting materials and methods to meet children’s varying readiness, interests, and learning profiles; and partnering with colleagues and parents to promote each child’s motivation, perseverance, and growth.

Responsibilities:
