Jennys Exploring Minds Daycare: Lead Teacher

Jenny’s Exploring Minds Daycare is currently seeking a high-energy, caring, and nurturing teacher. We are looking for someone with experience working with children and helping students in 3k classroom. Self-motivated and can work in a classroom setting with others. Must have people skills. Must meet NYC DOH regulation standards. Salary, calendar, and hours commiserate with experience and education. Our program developmental approach allows qualified candidates to collaborate, contribute, and create programming that supports and challenges all our learners. We believe in giving teachers the freedom to teach while supporting their growth and development as educators.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree and State certification, degree in early childhood education.

Duties:

Plans Activities /Cares for and supervises a specific group of children. Responsible for all duties in the classroom. Such as holding monthly curriculum meetings with staff and families. The teacher is responsible for the cleanliness of the classroom daily. The teacher is responsible for making sure she is ready to teach daily.

Job Types: Full-time,

• School hours
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum two years of experience in an Early Childhood setting
• Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $120.00 – $150.00 per day
