The Mental Health Counselor position is located within the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. It is a full-time, 10-month position (August 1-May 31 yearly) to start as soon as possible. Responsibilities include intake and mental health assessment, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, consultation and referral, Wellness training, and equity-centered psycho-educational program development and delivery. The candidate will complement a strong relationship-focused team of mental health professionals committed to addressing the psychological needs and development of both undergraduate and graduate-level students and will provide specialized liaison and team-oriented relationships to the campus community.
