The Ithaca College School of Health Sciences & Human Performance invites applications for a full-time Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology and Clinic Director position to begin August 16, 2024. This is a non-tenure eligible three-year renewable appointment. The successful candidate will teach assigned classes in speech-language pathology and serve as the Director of Speech-Language Pathology for the Ewing Speech & Hearing Clinic; participating in departmental, school, and college service; and advising students as needed. Scholarly activity is required per departmental policy for clinical faculty. Qualifications: Minimum requirements: master’s degree in communication disorders; Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; New York State licensure in speech-language pathology; minimum of 3 years’ experience in provision of clinical service; at least 1 year of clinical supervisory experience; potential for excellence in teaching. Minimum of 2 hours continuing education in clinical supervision, per ASHA requirements. Preferred characteristics include: prior experience in academic teaching in postsecondary setting; administrative experience; experience in supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, access and belonging initiatives.
