Iowa State University Looking for Instructional Technology Specialist II (R10379) Full Time
The Instructional Technology Specialist collaborates across Iowa State Online, Enterprise Instructional Technology and Course Design and
Quality teams within CELT to effectively design, develop and support courses across all modalities at the university. This position will
provide guidance to faculty and staff regarding technologies supported at the university.
Responsibilities
- Partners with instructors and additional campus partners, such as ITS, supporting
faculty in their use of the learning management system and centrally supported technologies - Troubleshoots and manages the ticketing
system - Develops and maintains resources and knowledge base articles
- Designs and delivers workshops as related to specific
learning management system functionalities - Assists faculty in the designing and development of courses with current systems and
technologies - Provides guidance to faculty that meet instructional design standards and follow established procedures
- Works
in collaboration with academic units across campus
