Summary: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support to the employees and managers throughout Advisor Group in the areas of policy and procedures, employee engagement, coaching and mentoring, performance management, employee engagement and recruiting, onboarding of new talent, as well as other tactical items. This role partners closely with multiple business partners throughout the organization, working with managers and employees on a variety of HR needs in a fast-paced work environment. This role is based in LaVista, Nebraska with an opportunity to work hybrid and works closely with several Senior Human Resources Business Partners. Responsibilities: * Build relationships with the business, establishing rapport to be viewed as a trusted HR representative. * Partner with the HR Generalist team and HR Business Partner team to execute various tasks. * Responsible for entry of business title changes, job profile changes, promotions, location changes, and various other Workday tasks. * Responsible for tactical items to include I-9 processing, HR data review and processing, employment/personnel file management. * Responsible for rolling out and executing resource request as well as the creation of new positions as needed. * Entry and verification of Work/State mismatch as well as Workspace location and home location mismatch. * Entry of organizational and cost center changes through org studio. * Employment Verification processing * Assist with daily COVID-19 reporting procedures * Completion of Unacknowledged AG Policy Tasks, Missing EEO Data, and other Workday HRPB Dashboard items as necessary. * Escalate matters of concern to the proper channels for immediate remediation. * Assist with various projects as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Basic Requirements: * Working knowledge of HR principles and procedures as well as basic understanding of the laws and regulations that govern the workforce. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook. Should be proficient and comfortable working with spreadsheets and data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy is maintained when working with Excel spreadsheets. * Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, on tight deadlines, and with a variety of tasks with shifting priorities. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with the employee base and management. * Ability to communicate to employees at all levels, in a way they will understand. * Exhibit ability to exercise sound judgment and knows when to escalate. * Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to cope with and lead through frequent and unexpected changes. * Mindset of continuous improvement. Required Education Education Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Human Resources, Business or related field is required. Required Years of Experience Experience Requirements: * 3-5 years of experience in HR as an HR coordinator, HR generalist or similar role
