Taxpayer Services, Customer Assistance, Relationship and Education, Stakeholder Partnerships, Education & Communication (SPEC), Growth Territory 207.
SPEC Mission Statement: Assist taxpayers in satisfying their tax responsibilities by building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders, seeking to create and share value by informing, educating, and communicating with our shared customers.
SPEC accomplishes the mission through establishing relationships with partners and volunteers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. VITA is an IRS-sponsored program that provides underserved communities with free tax filing assistance, using IRS-certified volunteers.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include:
Experience overseeing the development and dissemination of promotional products related to various matters; Experience with marketing principles and techniques to plan, coordinate and execute effective marketing plan and programs; Experience with evaluating promotional methods and media choices; Experience with consultative sales skills to develop leveraged partnerships; Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods such as analyzing demographic and statistical marketing data to shape program development; Experience with written and oral communication to deliver presentations and written products.
