IT and Security Risk Auditor

One of IDR’s largest client is looking for a IT and Security Risk Auditor to join their growing internal audit team in the Atlanta, GA area!

Responsibilities of the IT and Security Risk Auditor:

Providing risk-based audit controls testing, along with supporting the project team with the audit lifecycle to include risk assessment, planning, client coordination, fieldwork, data analysis, documentation, reporting and remediation validation.
Technology control application in on-premises environments vs. increased automation of controls within cloud service provider (CSP) environments.
Working with IT managed processes to include technology architecture, system build and provisioning, configuration management, performance monitoring, incident management, change management, disaster recovery, and user access management.
Evaluating information security risks such as confidentiality, integrity and availability of technology components by reviewing security operational processes to include vulnerability management, penetration testing, security logging/monitoring, security incident response, etc.
Evaluating and providing solutions for root cause factors for audit testing exceptions.

Qualifications for the IT and Security Risk Auditor:

Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of professional, relevant audit and risk management experience.
Prior experience with internal control frameworks such as COBIT, FFIEC, PCI DSS, Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO27001, and ITIL etc.
Active security certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc. preferred.
Big Four audit or risk advisory experience preferred.
Travel is required (10-15%).
