Institech Looking for CONTROLLER – COUNTRY CLUB at Menomonee Falls, WI  Full Time

CONTROLLER

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts Receivable – post payments, prepare bank deposits, process monthly member ACH and credit card payment, EOM closing of A/R and processing member statements, monitor A/R aging
• Accounts Payable – oversee invoice coding of general ledger and chart of accounts
• General Ledger – verify and post all journal entries, maintain chart of accounts
• Payroll – process bi-weekly payroll using an online payroll system
• Human Resources – process new hires through applicant tracking, from onboarding to payroll
• Month End – post recurring journal entries including accruals
• Account Reconciliations – including bank accounts
• Financial statement processing – reviewed by General Manager and Finance Committee
• File monthly sales tax reports    
• Annual tax organizer preparation for income tax purposes
• Resolve issues with accounting software and POS as needed
• Create and maintain accounting procedures
• Navigate member inquiries
• Other duties may be assigned by the General Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision     
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and capable of meeting deadlines
• Able to undertake multiple projects and the ability to shift priorities
• Professional integrity and uses discretion with sensitive and confidential information
• Experience with club management systems (preferably Jonas)
