JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will report into Head of Human Resources. The HR Associate will be responsible for providing support the talent attraction, sourcing, interviews, recruitment,, employee/contractors onboarding, offboarding formalities, retention, pipeline planning and workforce optimization; performance and total rewards management, employee productivity, relations; policy interpretation, compliance. Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies, procedures, strategies, and planning. Can work independently, exhibit a professional appearance, make decisions, and support all team members. Additional responsibilities include employee relations, investigations, team effectiveness, staffing models, talent capabilities, career progression initiatives, acquisition integration, and training.
RESPONSBILITIES
Work with internal and external teams in complete employees/contractors onboarding process which includes issuing Employment offer letters, Employment Agreements, Experience letters, Employee verification letters, Employee Relieving letters and other relevant documents.
Coordinate with employees/contractors for collecting the relevant documentation for onboarding formalities.
Initiate background verification formalities and coordinate with customers/clients in providing the updates on BGV status.
Coordinate, with employees in completing I-9, signing, and storing them the file cabinets.
Perform E-Verify process and coordinate with employees in case of any non-conformance issued by the regulated body.
Work with Immigration & Non-Immigration teams and company authorized attorneys for processing H1B Transfers, H1B Amendments, H1B Extensions, H1B RFE’s, PERM, 1-40, 1-765, I-512, I-485 and other immigration and non-immigration matters.
Collaborate with our legal team in reviewing the status of MSA and PO’s.
Collect and maintain W-4 documents from employees.
Maintaining all Employee records in Ceipal Workforce HRIS application.
Creation all Public Access Files whose H1B petitions are processed.
Assist in preparing payroll and coordinate with employees in case of any errors or discrepancies.
Provides information by answering communications, referring special communications to appropriate person.
Provide Medical, Dental, Vision and other company benefits information to employees during employee onboarding and orientation.
Get Medical/Dental/Vision waiver documents if employees opt for other medical insurance programs outside of our organization.
Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the field of Human Resources or Business Administration or a related field.
2+ years of human resources experience required.
Must have strong knowledge and experience with HRIS, payroll and accounting systems.
Must be proficient with MS office suite which includes MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Visio etc.
Must have experience in Immigration & Non-Immigration process.
Must have experience with all employee onboarding and offboarding formalities.
PREFERRED QUALIFATIONS
Experience in the Staffing Industry or PEO Industry is a plus.
Highly organized with good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and able to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish credibility and trust at all levels of the organization.
Results-oriented, with good ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
