POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist will support the HR Director in providing HR services to the entire organization. The main areas of support would be managing offer letter process, reference and back-ground checks and drug screen process, on-boarding, exit interviews, assistance in major recruiting events, and handling routine general inquiries from the employee population. The role will also be responsible for providing general data production to Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Ensure that template employment letters are updated and accurate
o Issuance of employment letters
o Administer all pre-employment checks and drug screening,
o Coordinate and facilitate the On-Boarding Orientation, whether at location or via Teams
o Coordinate I-9 verification with hiring managers
o Administer E-verify processes
o Run queries to support Operations team as required
o Arrange schedules and time tables for events and programs, as needed
o Conduct exit interview in a timely manner
o Produce exit interview statistics
o Make recommendation on remedies to the HR Director
o Participate in facilitation of Harassment training
o Reconcile, consolidate or summarize information
o Organize and arrange logistics, communication, etc.
o Monitor progress toward desired result based on project plan
o Answer employee questions regarding FMLA, STD, LTD, Pregnancy Leave and Workers Comp
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject plus three or more years’ related experience in a HR role or equivalent experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Working knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus but not required. PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
