Job Description

The Clinical Assistant/Associate
Professor, School of Nursing will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of
Nursing. The emphasis is on teaching and the continued development of the School of Nursing Accelerated program, scholarship, and service.
Key responsibilities include: 

• Teaching – Provide classroom, clinical and online instruction, and support for
  undergraduate students – 80% 
• Scholarship – Active engagement in research and/or scholarship –
  10% 
• Service – Advising students, serving on committees in the School of Nursing, College of Health, Division of
  Health Sciences, and/or the University – 10% 

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing 
• Demonstrated ability to teach
• Potential for scholarship,
  research, and grants/contracts
• Active unencumbered RN license in the state of Idaho 

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in nursing or related field
• Prior experience and examples of providing teaching in baccalaureate and/or graduate level classroom, clinical, and lab
  settings
• Record of scholarship and research
