The HR Generalist is responsible for helping to lead strategic human resource management. The HR Generalist will partner on a local level to develop and deliver HR strategies which are people-centric, drive high performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This position will report to the HR Director. In this role, and under minimal supervision, the Human Resources Generalist provides support and guidance for all Human Resource related items. *Performance Management: * * Participates in corrective action investigations and coaches management on company policies and procedures as required * Assists management with the performance management process, including identifying high performers, and creating individual development plans, etc. * Prepares quarterly evaluation audits and works with Supervisors/Managers to update changes in performance pay *Employee Relations* * Develops strategic working relationships with local and divisional management groups to facilitate organizational business goals * Develops and maintains effective working relationships with all employees * Provides guidance and coaching to employees and management regarding issues of concern * Ensures employees concerns and questions receive appropriate consideration and response * Act as a resource for employees and plant management in interpreting established human resources policies and procedures, and directing them to appropriate areas for resolution * Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities *Compliance* * Stays informed of local and state regulatory requirements * Ensures compliance with labor law and employment law regulations *Job Requirements: * * Minimum 5 years of recent experience with human resource *required* * Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required * Must have knowledge of human resource principles including benefits, recruitment, state and federal employment and labor law, and employee relations
