As a Manufacturing Inspector, on our Plateline Team, you will ensure manufactured products meet the requirements using tools and guidelines. The inspector will verify product quality, ensuring it meets standard before delivery to internal and external customers. This is an evening shift position with a 40% shift differential! The shift is Sunday evening through Friday morning, 9:30PM to 5:30AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product.
• Understand specifications and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings, etc.
• Approve or reject product with respect to quality standards.
• Check features using appropriate methods of measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and visual comparisons.
• Proactively communicate manufacturing discrepancies to appropriate resources.
• Accurately document items not meeting the manufacturing standard.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an inspector or relevant role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Ability to multitask and manage demanding time requirements.
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and control systems.
• Through knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 ect.)
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• High school diploma or high school equivalency required.
• Effective communication skills.
