Small, but growing Human Resources Consulting company looking for a driven and detail oriented Human Resources Assistant to help take the company to the next level of growth.
The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to):
1. Managing the calendar and setting up appointments, meetings, interviews.
2. Setting up job postings, screening resumes and reaching out to candidates on behalf of hiring managers.
3. Working with our clients’ employee population and assisting them with a variety of HR related tasks, i.e., giving access to payroll system, walking through new hire paperwork, responding to benefit questions.
4. Generating all types of HR related reports. Drafting memos and correspondence.
5. Supporting the President of the Company so that she can operate efficiently and expeditiously.
6. Handling a variety of HR related projects.
The ideal Human Resources Assistant candidate will be:
1. Driven and self-motivated.
2. Very organized and have an ability to manage a pipeline of tasks and deadlines and prioritize accordingly. The ideal candidate will enjoy being meticulous about ensuring all transactions and activities are accurately completed and presented professionally.
3. Highly knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and just generally technically savvy. Excel proficiency in creating vlookups, formulas, pivot tables is preferred; however, the candidate with a solid basic understanding of Excel will be trained.
4. Nice and enjoy assisting people navigate their workplace protocols.
5. Good at writing and grammar. Be able to proofread documents.
6. Bilingual – English / Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
The Human Resources Assistant will have a 4 year degree or will be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited institution. Additionally, at least 2 years of previous employment required, with previous administrative roles preferred. This position is perfect for anyone interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
This position will be a combination of working on site and on the premises of our clients; however, the option to work from home will be available once proficiency in the job has been established with a proven record of high quality work product output.
There is room for advancement and higher compensation based on proficiency and work quality.
