We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to work with the HCC Foundation who will advance the institution’s proud tradition of
excellence in academics, student life and community service.
The Opportunity
Flex your creative muscles as you design and
produce publications for HCC, including ads, brochures, posters, flyers and other collateral.
One day you might be meeting with
faculty and staff to develop marketing strategies and materials. The next day might find you deliberating over illustrations from models,
sketches and photographs that you’ll need to translate into computerized design.

The Graphic Designer is
responsible for the design and production of publications including ads, brochures, posters, flyers, and other
documents.
Essential Functions
Create publication art elements.
Use creative skills to formulate
concepts and prepare illustrations from models, sketches, photographs, etc., into computerized design.
Scan document and art in
preparation for their use in publications.
Solicit quotes for ad costs, printing, and production costs.
Work with faculty and
staff to develop marketing strategies and materials.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
Education & Experience
Special Skills
General office. May frequently be required to walk; stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands
and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Use of personal
computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer, photocopier, file cabinets, and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up
to 25 pounds, ability to reach and bend, and use 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from
meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and
holidays.
